Harmony in Anini-y

As early as 3 o’clock in the afternoon, people can already hear the tuning of the musical instruments, the pitch of the Violins and Cello, the rumblings of the trombone and the thuds of Bass Drum add up with the excitement of the audience gathering to spectate and listen to the music of the nation’s leading symphony orchestra. At 6 o’clock the weather shows a great cooperation as the sky slowly turned dark and the moon appeared in its glowing full shape. Another hour of excitement build up, and the first classical piece from the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, a Johann Strauss’s Fledermaus Overture, serenades the community — followed by another beautiful classical pieces such as Ivanovich’s Waves of the Danube Waltz, and Leroy Anderson’s Serenata. The musical-cold ambiance is perfect for the rest of the night.
